Danielsmith watercolors. Really good pigments. I most used oils. Was surprised at the watercolors intensity. Worth it if i ever i turn to watercolor. Nice to meet you, sir.

Can you use oil ground on cotton canvas.

They didn't put black in the sample kit, no one could follow along with their white canvases😭 Props to the instructor for trying to work around it, but man Plaza really need to get on the same page with what the lesson's actually going to use. Black was the whole foundation of the lesson plan.

i have used gamblin products going on 3 yrs now....having learned with old holland i will still take gamblin paints and mediums/solvents any day!!!!

David I’m most grateful for your teaching and sharing your painting process. I ALSO love looking at your palette and it’s less consciously produced visual. It makes me think of coconut, chocolate and an upside down face with two black widespread eyes. Very abstract and interesting composition. Excellent abstract!!!

I like using gouache for specific areas or parts of my work on occasion but it seems to not lift off easily, if at all. Is there a brand that is better then others.? What do ya think David?

Can you say something about the safety of leaving paper towels Thant have been used for wiping paint and brushes. Small studio bins left full of paper can spontaneously combust.

Does the paint chip off or is it pretty good about staying on? Can you blend colors more or is it better to not get complicated? You've blended some but it's minimal .. thank you for sharing!

Lost me at the tracing paper. I traced it, colored the back, then the video skipped how to get it onto the drawing paper. Left it at the trace. Did she re-trace the image onto the drawing paper using the colored back? Will have to google how to get past this part.

Is the background music automated by RUclips? It is distracting, IMO

Back to basics by working the empty spaces? Thank you. I almost forgot that they have shapes and visual relationships, too. Not just the chair or mountains.
